Timing Is Everything
I don’t know about you, but since the first of the year, I have kept feeling in my spirit that many things are about to change. Jobs, families and certain situations that may be taxing our souls…it’s all going to change one way or the other. It’s really up to us, on how it changes. You may be asking, “And how is that?!”
It’s quite simple. Choose this day who you will serve – yourself, or the Lord. Self-serving issues in our lives only cause frustration, stress and anxieties. But when we believe, behave and ‘act out’ our God-given attributes of love, grace, forgiveness, etc., in and through His magnificent Name, we win, we climb, we go higher. Our self-will brings us lower. His nature brings us upward and beyond anything we could have hoped for or dreamed.
I’m sure that some of this feeling that’s invaded my heart about change coming to our lives has something to do with the prophetic meaning of the year 2011. Eleven, of course, represents transition. And certainly, to a degree, transitions are happening everywhere in many areas of people’s lives. However, it’s a whole lot more than that!
TIMING is everything! What I’m sensing very strongly is that the Lord’s ‘fullness of time’ in many situations is coming to fruition. How long, how hard have you been praying for certain breakthroughs in your life? It’s all about to change! There ought to be rising up within you an excitement and joy for what is soon to come upon you! The ‘cup of intercession’ is full and the Holy Spirit is about to pour out in ways we could not ever have anticipated. Much is on the horizon for God’s people. I’m telling you, believe for it. It’s imminent. Let’s bow and bend our knees in adoration as the Lord bestows great things upon us now and in the coming months.
There is an appointed time
Chapter Three of the book of Ecclesiastes in the Old Testament opens with these words, “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven….” Verse 11 says,“He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart….” Time is on our side! Many of us have been waiting for a long time for a move of God that transcends anything we’ve ever known. This ‘timing’ isn’t by our standards, but His. Our Most Holy Lord has the right timing.
Wonderfully, we can actually speed up the time line for answered prayer! Take note of John 2 where Mary asks her son, Jesus, to help at the wedding feast when the wine had run out. He responds by saying,“My hour has not yet come.” Nevertheless, we know her request moved Him so much that His ‘timing’ changed. Amazing!
Precious believers in Jesus, our prayers are going to begin to pay off big time! Embrace and decree Haggai 2:19 over your life right now: “Is the seed still in the barn? Even including the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree, it has not borne fruit. Yet from this day on I will bless you.” (My emphasis) It’s all coming to us! It’s coming! So get your heart in a receiving mode.
In conclusion, please note that then when our ministry comes to your area during this year’s significant Quad State Tour of Iowa, Romans 15:29 will be carried: “And I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ.” Tremendous and powerful things are about to transpire when we come together as a mighty force of believers in Yeshua, our Lord Jesus Christ. Watch and see. Come and see. “For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.” (John 1:16) Glory!

THE GLASS CEILING
On January 31st of this year, I was awakened for prayer by the Holy Spirit. It was about 3 AM. Around 4:35 AM, He spoke a strange thing into my heart. He said, “I will shatter the glass ceiling! You {all of us} will go where you never thought you’d go. I will tell you what you do not know. I will lead you; I will be by your side. It’s not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit.” (Zech. 4:6)
I responded by praying, “May hundreds of thousands of people be overwhelmed with Your love, mercy, grace, compassion, healing, deliverance and begin to call out to You, O Lord! May they bow their knees to You. Change Iowa’s diapers! (Put your state’s name here) Clean up the ‘mess’ unbridled man has made, especially in regards to unrighteous covenants of marriage. {Gay marriage} Listen and respond to the cries of Your people, O Lord! Move in through shocking thunder, lightning and power to astound and amaze many. One cannot ‘mess’ with God and get away with it!”
The Holy Spirit went on to answer my prayer by saying, “I am showing you change. Change is coming and it’s coming from on High! Few in number, mighty indeed! A Gideon-like army of intercessors is arising and the incense of their prayers has reached My nostrils. (Judges 7) Continue to pray and you shall see My glory. I will come through in ways you do not expect. Wait and see. Look and see. Behold, I am doing a new thing! (Isa. 43:19) Strength and courage is required from you. Follow Me. I will show you the way. Do not turn to the right or to the left, but stay on the straight and narrow path, for My path is Light and Life.” (Pv. 3:6)
Depth
Later that morning after having gone to bed and then rejoining the Lord in prayer about 7:43 AM, I journaled further as His Spirit continued to flow over me. He gave me another meaning to the word ‘mess.’ And I loved it!
He said that just as a little child shows his/her daddy or mommy a picture they drew or colored, and it looks quite messy…and may look like nothing, yet they look upon their child with great love, compassion and pride complimenting them for what they’ve done. It builds confidence and esteem in that child. It’s the same with us and our heavenly Father. Whatever mess or adverse circumstance we may find ourselves in, the Father looks at it as a huge potential for growth.
To the world, some things in our lives may look messy and not make any sense at all, but to our Abba Father it is beautiful. Why? Because it is creating a depth of godly character in our lives we could not otherwise have. One who walks with God intimately will quickly discern these things and grow in spiritual matters as a result. Therefore, the mess or scribbles of our lives, when given to our Pappa Abba, are treasures in His eyes and avail us much good. So let’s stop whining and let’s start winning! He makes all things beautiful in His time! (Eccl. 3:11)
Glass ceiling
I’d heard the above term before, and thought I knew what it meant. But when the Lord God Almighty speaks something into your spirit, you’ve got to dig deeper! Proverbs 25:2 prods us in this regard saying,“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” Dear hearts, never let a revelation drop to the ground! Dig and dig deeper still until you’ve gleaned all that you feel the Lord wants to show you about a situation in your life. Daniel was good at this kind of training from the Lord. He speaks of it often in his book. Daniel 2:22 says, “It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him.” Let’s always go for the gold which is very deep and very much hidden from the surface. (Job 28) Desire deep digs!
Do you know what a glass ceiling is? Google describes it this way: ‘In a discussion of ascending the corporate ladder, the word ‘ceiling’ implies that here is a limit to how far someone can climb it. Along with this implied barrier is the idea that it is glass, meaning that, while it is very real, it is transparent and not obvious to the observer. Try as they might, they find it nearly impossible to break through.’
Have you felt dry?
There is much revelation here! Have you felt dry? Have you felt like you just haven’t grown in the Lord much lately? Have you felt you’ve gone as far as you can go and don’t know what you can do to go further? Have you seen and heard glorious things in prayer and long to see them manifest? Beloved friends, this word the Holy Spirit gave about the glass ceiling breaking – I believe it!
Listen, if He speaks, He is not a man that He should lie. (Numb. 23:19; Isa. 55:11) He truly is about to break the glass ceiling over us and break off those things that have held us back from all His precious and sure promises. Therefore, this means we are about to ascend new heights! We are about to climb the mountain of the Lord just as Moses did. We about to see holy revival fire from the Throne Room of God. The passionate pursuit of your soul is now going to take you to places you never thought possible. Take off your shoes for you are now on holy ground! And every place the sole of your foot sets will be holy to you just as it was with Joshua. You will stand and you will win! (Joshua 1:3)
This revelation from the Holy Spirit corresponds to another one He gave me few years ago. I’d had a vision of a screen door in heaven. In the vision I was standing on something like a misty, cloud-like floor and I was peering through this screen door. I could see through it, and I saw such marvelous and powerful things that I felt a thundering in my soul! And yet, in the vision, I was not able to go through it. In other words, I could SEE these profound things through that screen door but didn’t seem able to open it or pass through it. I’ve been praying for it to open ever since. Now is the time!
Beloved saints, it’s time to press in and open the door! May our prayers ascend higher, wider, deeper and more persistently. Let us love ourselves and our neighbor. Let us forgive and honor one another. Let us emulate our Savior in every way. This will cause the screen door to begin opening and we will experience things we’ve only seen and heard by the Spirit of God. Fulfillment is coming! “After these things I looked and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, ‘Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.’” Revelation 4:1
Higher
We are going higher than we ever thought possible. Dreams are coming true. Visions will manifest in this earthly realm astounding many. Healings will occur. Marriages and families are being restored. Jobs will be found and pay well. Homes will be paid for. College funds will increase miraculously. What is to stop us?! What is to put that glass ceiling on ourselves but our own unbelief?
My beautiful mentor, Ruth Ann Polston, taught me a wonderful song that has blessed me for many years. The words are:
God is bigger than any mountain,
Bigger than any fear,
God is bigger than any mountain that I can or cannot see,
Bigger than all my questions,
Bigger than anything,
God is bigger than any mountain that I can or cannot see.
It’s true. Why? Because John 4:4 tells us so: “You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” What an Amen!
So look intently into the Spirit and see these things for yourself because they are near. May the Holy Spirit hear the tears and cheers from His people in hot intercession. We’re breaking the glass ceiling and climbing higher!

We will try to share as many of those as we can in the Quadrant meetings. It’s imperative the saints unite in the spirit of humility, grace, honor and astounding love for one another. No one is to be lifted up. No one is to be exalted, but the King of glory!
Invest your heart in intercession for breakthroughs in your own life, your neighborhoods, towns and businesses of where you live. God’s Shekinah glory is about to shine forth in new and profound ways! Engage and participate in these historical events coming to your area.
Unprecedented things are happening in this Midwestern state, especially in regards to marriage and abortion. It’s been said, “Evil prevails when good men do nothing.” We shall not allow this on our watch!
A prophetic word
On February 15, 2011, Paul Keith Davis (White Dove Ministries) received this word from the Lord, “This season highlights the importance of formalizing a plan of occupation by mobilizing the Body of Christ. Great grace will be given in this next season for training and equipping leaders who are not afraid to conquer and occupy the land for which they are given spiritual vision.” End quote.

One day in May of 2003, the Lord sent me on a prophetic prayer journey on the highways and interstates of Iowa. I was to anoint even the ‘Rest Stops’ along the way. He had me pray for the north, south, east and west, especially the highways saying that weary {life} travelers would flood the state to ‘rest’ and be ‘refreshed’ because of the move of God here! (See Gen. 13:14-18) He had me pray Luke 14:21-23 among other scriptures as well.

August 4, 1996, I encountered the Lord in a most dramatic way of which I’ve written of before. (See again, January’s IWG Journal) During that encounter, the Lord told me to ask Him for 500,000 new souls for Iowa. A few years later as we were on Prayer Patrol in the inner city of Des Moines, we came across Pastor Wayne Maclin of Restoration Ministries of whom we’ve become good friends. We learned that he too had a similar encounter the same month and year!
Thus, our CPR Meetings in the Quadrants of Iowa!
In 2006 and 2007 our ministry engaged in a prophetic prayer journey to Iowa’s county courthouses resulting in the book, Words Aptly Spoken. Those prophecies are about to be fulfilled!

On January 24, 2011, Cindy Jacobs of Generals International prophesied the following, quoted only in part: “This is not a time to compromise what God has said to you, but to believe that all things are possible. New assignments will be passed out in this year of transition for those who do not draw back in the season of testing and fire. Go deeper in God and draw refreshing from His presence and you will make it to your new place of advancement and anointing. 2011 is one of the most critical years in the nation’s history, the foundations are burning and are in danger of being destroyed. We must fast and pray and take extraordinary measures to ‘rumble’ both the heavens and the earth. God is looking for a new generation of reformers who will make a covenant with God and others to stand and fight to awaken this nation in this dire moment of history.” End quote.

2) May 20 - (correction from last month’s posting) Counties from the NE Quadrant will meet
at IHOPE, Waterloo, Ia. Host: Mike Peters.
3) Sept. 23 – Counties from the SE Quadrant will meet at Trinity Friend's Church, Richland, Ia.

4) Oct. 14 - Counties from the SW Quadrant will meet at HHOP in Council Bluffs, Ia.

5) Nov. 11 (11-11-11!) Center of state and Grand Celebration for all the Lord has
done, is doing and is about to do! These are all Spiritual CPR (Christ Performing
Resuscitation) Revival Meetings! This last one will be held at the Foxboro Conference
Center on 86th St. in Johnston, Iowa.

Each Quad Meeting (consisting of approximately 20 counties in those regions), are scheduled to begin at 7 PM and will last several hours. They will consist of prayer regarding specifics in those counties, not just those from our book (Words Aptly Spoken), but things others are seeing/hearing as well. Worship will be key, followed by a brief message with Randy Bixby from KHOP, Des Moines. Linda Schreurs will bring the conclusion through leading the group into an intimate, life-changing encounter with the Lamb of God in Holy Communion. (Her next book!) You are welcome to bring your worship banners and shofars to add to the celebrations of what the Lord is doing!
God’s Shekinah glory is prophesied to fall in our midst, where an atmosphere is charged with healings, signs and wonders from on High! Plan to attend the Quad meeting in your area, or all of them if you can, and especially the Grand Finale Celebration on 11-11-11. Anything can happen! In fact, we are required by the Holy Spirit to look for it! (Eph. 3:20)
