Undercurrent - What's underneath?

UNDERCURRENT
So what’s underneath our façade? What are we really like when we’re out of the public eye or in the privacy of our own homes? Are we different? Are we someone else? Who are we underneath all the suave words of impression or our hairstyles, clothes, shoes, hats or jewelry? Is our cover up a ‘cover up’? Who does the Lord see when He looks at us? Are we trying to hide anything? Surely we’re all smart enough to know that nothing is hidden from Him! Truth and purity in our inner person is still absolutely an issue now as it was in King David’s day. He prayed the most heartfelt prayer in Psalm 51 knowing full well that the Lord desires truth in the innermost being. In Mark 4:22 the Lord Jesus says, “For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it should come to light.”
So just exactly what is our power source underneath an early morning showered face? What is the undercurrent in our lives that motivates us? Hopefully, it is nothing less than that of Jesus Christ, our superstar, our eternal hero of all the ages, our divine and glorious Saviour! He is the most profound movement upon humanity of the past, present and future.
Movement
A few weeks ago while in prayer, I heard the Holy Spirit say, “There is an undercurrent move of God.” I wasn’t sure what that meant, so I kept still and listened further.
The revelation given to me was that there is an undercurrent movement of God going on! It’s barely discernable for those who are looking and waiting for manifestations of revival.
However, this precious ‘undercurrent’ is felt deep within the hearts of those who are in the ‘current’ of the Living Waters of God. It’s almost as if it’s a tremor of sorts, just as an earthquake would be. In other words, it’s not necessarily an outpouring, but something below the surface… something within souls who are passionately looking to the Lord. It’s a bowing in humility, silence and awe before the majestic splendor of our Holy King Jesus. It IS the reverential fear of the Lord! This undercurrent is causing many to fall on their faces before Him, NOT on their backs in order to receive something from Him (even though that’s not a bad thing).
The Lord is definitely moving! And those who are intimately close to Him will have knowledge of these things. They are the ones who are not asking, “What is God doing?” But they are the ones who bow at His feet in wonder and amazement at His Presence and glory! Praise and worship exude from them to Him who reigns forever! They can’t help themselves!
Meaning
Looking at the dictionary to see just exactly what ‘undercurrent’ means, it says: “A partly hidden tendency or force often contrary to what is on the surface.” ‘Undertow’ has a similar meaning. I can testify to the power of an undercurrent/undertow. As an eleven year old swimming in the ocean for the first time in my life, I found myself being swept out to sea! I found myself in very deep waters rather quickly and since I didn’t know how to swim, I had to be rescued. I’ve never forgotten that experience! You never lose sight of those times when you were saved physically or spiritually!
So perhaps it’s not so strange that the Lord would give me this kind of word because I can certainly understand the POWER of an undercurrent. I’ve come to fresh revelation about this spiritually because these are days that we are being called into deeper, Living Waters. So many of us need to be refreshed and it’s all about being revived to a new level which has not been known up to this time. People of God, this is where we are right now. In these final months of 2011, Daniel chapter 11 seems to be more pertinent than ever. Stay alert! Stay on track with God. Stay close to His heart, His Breath, His Word, His Presence. And you will know astounding strength in the warfare that may be all around you. He is your Prince of peace in times of trouble.
On our faces
Yes, the Lord wants to heal our minds and bodies. Yes, He wants to provide a job and finances for us. Yes, He wants to restore marriages, families. But those things will come more quickly if we just fall on our faces and soak in His Presence, love and power. I believe we are fast approaching the revelations of the book of Daniel. Do you see how he fell on his face time and time again? “So he came near to where I was standing, and when he came I was frightened and fell on my face; but he said to me, ‘Son of man, understand that the vision pertains to the times of the end.’” (See also Dan. 8:17; 10:9)
In Chapter 9, Daniel writes in the second half of verse 18, “…for we are not presenting our supplications before Thee on account of any merits of our own, but on account of Thy great compassion.” It’s not so much about what we do, but who we are. It’s about ‘being’ in communion or in intimate fellowship with the Lord. What resides deep within us - holiness, purity, righteousness; or something less than those godly things? Are we a reflection of the Lord’s face? Do we have His likeness? What would our spiritual snapshot look like? Who are we really on the inside?
Also take note then of Daniel 10:15 upon these profound revelations he was being shown, he writes, “And when he {the archangel Michael} had spoken to me according to these words, I turned my face toward the ground and became speechless.” Did you know there is a wordless realm of glory? It’s the awestruck wonder and matchless magnitude of our Eternal Father God!
Don’t misunderstand me, O precious saints of God. It’s quite OK to fall down or to fall backward to the floor under the power of God. But I feel the Lord has shown me that in this coming movement, our posture will be more of our lying on our faces crying out for mercy and compassion. (See 2 Chron. 20:4, & verses 18-19 & 21) We will be awakened and revived to see what we’ve not ever seen before. It’s going to be utterly wonderful! So let’s be expectant and excited as we fall on our faces to worship the King of kings and Lord of lords. The undercurrent is flowing and it’s very deep and powerful! Have you discerned it? “And those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.” Daniel 12:3
Stay in the undercurrent and there will be no need for a façade!

This is the time to pull out all the stops! This is the time to sing, dance, rejoice and fill the atmosphere over Iowa with unprecedented praise, worship, dance and more. Let’s make a joyful sound opening the skies with heaven’s glory coming down. These things are being prophesied for this very date of 11-11-11. The last time we did this I had prophesied that the earth would tremble. It did! Several days later Iowa recorded an earthquake in Shenandoah, Iowa! The natural precedes the spiritual according to 1 Cor. 15:46. So we’re all on high alert for the power of God to fall in fresh ways we’ve not seen before in this state.
Bring your trumpets, your horns, your instruments and we will call out a holy roar with the Lion of Judah over each quadrant of the state of Iowa. It’s no coincidence a Mt. lion has been found in Iowa! (DM Register 9/28) Joel 3:16! Perhaps the very dead will be raised! Randy Bixby will lead us in this anointed time of worship. Put on your dancing shoes as we dance with our guest, Carla Kaiser. (She can be seen on our web site dancing with her aunt at one of our IWG events). Come and see what our special artist, Angela Meijer, paints under the unction of the Holy Spirit.
This will be a night to remember for generations to come. A holy sound, a holy call, a holy reveille will be made known across this Midwestern state that will reverberate far and wide. The undercurrent will become the spiritual, holy tsunami that sweeps over Iowa with an awakening!

- Bob Jones also prophesied that on Veteran’s day, Nov. 11th of this year, God will release ‘dread champions’!
