Mammoth Shift

It’s been awhile since I’ve published one of our IWG Journals, but I’m feeling compelled by the Holy Spirit that now is a pertinent time to do so with so many seismic shifts going on all around us in various ways. Do you feel it? I’m not sure I’ll be able to pin-point it exactly, but I do know this: something is imminent and of great magnitude that’s shifting things on the face of the earth. I’m not predicting the Lord’s Second Coming, but we do know that at some point in the earth’s history that will indeed happen and of course, every day brings us a bit closer.

I think one of things noted significantly in my spirit was an article I just read this week. I will be very careful to try to state the story without a lot of details. But I was aghast as I read about a couple living together for a number of years—without the sacred sacrament of marriage—and who wrote a ‘Christian book’ about raising kids… etc, etc. How far have we moved from righteousness?! Are we walking the walk of Jesus and His holiness and righteousness, or have we shifted to the more popular worldly ways that do not adhere to the purity of the Gospel?

I was shocked to hear on the Rush Limbaugh show recently that the Pope has declared there is no hell. Unbelievable! I thought I couldn’t be hearing this correctly. So I listened for awhile and it was true. I’m still stunned, and even as I write this, there was a cartoon in the paper today showing the Pope sitting in his Papal chair holding a sign that says, “No hell.” And then it shows a priest before him holding a sign that says, “Hell no!” Has the pope never read the Bible?!

I thought to myself, “I wonder what Billy Graham would have to say about that?” I think he would be as kind and gracious as ever, but still bring the holy truths of God’s Word in love to bear upon this situation. I’ve been on his mailing list for a long time. I’m sure that with his death, his son Franklin will continue his ministry just as he’s been doing for some time. So it was timely that I received the Graham Newsletter a few days ago with pertinent words in this regard.

Here is what Billy Graham spoke in one of his crusades: “One of the pet words of this age is tolerance.  People plead for broad-mindedness, tolerance, and charity. There’s a sense in which the world needs broad-mindedness and tolerance, and certainly we all need understanding and charity. However, in the Christian experience there is a need for intolerance in certain areas. In some things Jesus Christ was the most tolerant, broad-minded Person who ever lived—but in other things He was one of the most intolerant. He was intolerant toward hypocrisy. He was intolerant toward selfishness. He was intolerant toward sin. He was tolerant toward the sinner, but intolerant toward the evil that enslaves the sinner.”

Finally, Billy Graham concludes saying, “Jesus was narrow about the way of salvation. Jesus plainly stated that there are two roads in life, two kingdoms, two masters, two rewards, two eternities. The broad, wide, easy way leads to death. We have the power to choose whom we will serve, but the alternative to choosing Christ brings certain destruction. Jesus said that!  And in loving, compassionate intolerance He said, “Enter by the narrow gate… Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life.” {Matt. 7:13-14} Only the way of the cross leads home.” Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” {John 14:6} End of quote.

Know God’s Word

The fact of the matter is, people do NOT know the Word of God. They are not encouraged to read their Bibles. Let me be clear. The Word of God says that we are all sinners — saved, by grace. Romans, Chapters 5, 6, and 7 speak of these things very clearly.  And I John 3:6-9 and 5:18 states it very well in saying that once we are ‘born of God,’ we don’t continue to sin. So why isn’t the church stepping up to the plate and declaring God’s truth? Are they more interested in the numbers of people coming than in the condition of their eternal souls?

Lukewarmness and Compromise

Where are the ones like the Apostles who are willing to go through the fires of persecution and even death, to adhere to the Truth of God’s Word? Where are they in this day and hour when there is so much pain and heartache amongst us? God’s Eternal Word is a comfort beyond description for any and all who are willing to come to Him on bended knee, confess their sins, and depart from them with a new, clean slate.

Like Martin Luther King, I want to say, “I have a dream!” My dream is that the church of the Lord Jesus Christ would step up to the plate and make the right calls according to God’s Word and not the world’s standards so they can be popular. It isn’t all about how many people are coming through the doors of the House of God every week but about those souls being committed fully to the pure walk of the Lord Jesus and displaying that to the world. A life changed by the Cross of Christ!

The compromise of the ‘church’ in many places these days is disheartening as they actually condone unrighteousness to the ways of the world in regard to the LBGTQ segment or couples just living together without marriage, or whatever. Too many of the houses of worship are liberal and not Biblical. All one has to do is READ GOD’S WORD to find TRUTH, and it will make you whole, happy, righteous, clean and victorious over all kinds of sins. Let me be clear, as human beings we have all sinned in one way or the other. {Rom. 3:23} But God calls us to be pure, cleansed by the power of the blood of Jesus and we’ll be made whole, happy and begin life anew under the mantle of the power of God in holiness and power. I can tell you that through my cancer journey, Revelations 12:11 has almost been tattooed by the fire of God upon my heart: “They overcome him {the enemy/Satan} by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.” Satan is liar! We need to testify to God’s Truths found in the scriptures!

What are we saying? How are we living? Are we lined up with the Eternal Word of God, or are we compromising and making excuses for ourselves in regard to any on-going sins as this dear couple I mentioned at the start of this IWG Journal?

Mammoth Shift

What I’ve been sensing in my heart and spirit is that there is a mammoth shift coming! A shift of such great magnitude on and in the earth itself {natural elements} for the days we are now in that it may just be indescribable! Lukewarmness, compromise, untruths, etc. will be challenged to a new degree. The House of God has got to awaken to righteousness! People are crying out for change in their lives. They’re tired of the worldly ways that have captivated and imprisoned them in meaningless lives without direction that are all too quickly passing away.   A few short years on this earth cannot ever begin to compare with an eternal existence past this life. It’s time to share the Good News of the True Gospel of Christ that will set millions and billions of souls free as the End Time Harvest will be ushered in as I saw on August 4th, 1996 in a vision regarding our own state here in the heartland of America: 500,000 new souls coming to the Lord! It seems it’s a breath away!

A clean slate — a new thing is being released such has not been seen in a long, long while. God’s truths regarding purity and holiness will grip masses of people in this next seismic wave of God’s glory! This massive shift I’m sensing is going to be precipitated by people ‘falling in love’ with the Word of God, the Bible, and wonderfully and extravagantly on fire for God where there will be healings of mind, body, soul and spirit! God’s Word is from everlasting to everlasting and it changes not. Read His Word. Be consumed by it. Let it be your breakfast, lunch and dinner if need be, but fall in love with it as there is no greater food found on the face of the earth! My husband can attest to this having read the Bible in its entirety almost 60 times to date. Love and cherish it because it’s everlasting life. And, take Holy Communion as often as led of the Lord because He is the WORD that became flesh, crucified and risen “just as He said.” Luke 22, 23, 24; John 1:14; Matt. 26. Communion was never meant to be a ritualistic tradition with no power (& only done in a church service). So set that aside. It’s meant to be a living encounter with the Lamb of God, our Savior Jesus. Communion is going to a much deeper level as revival comes. Hallelujah!

FYI

So if you’re now wanting to dive in, may I give you a little guide? After reading the article in the paper about this couple living together and falsely believing that God was blessing that (!) etc., I sat down with my Bible and began looking up scriptures that deal with this very thing. If you’re inclined, here are some to check:

1 Corinthians 5:9-13; 6:9.  Ephesians 5:3,5-17; Hebrews 13:4; Romans 13:13; 1 Corinthians 6:18; 7:1-2; 10:8; Galatians 5:16-25; Colossians 3:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:2-7; Jude verses 4, 18-19; Rev. 2:14, 20-21 and 9:20-21. Revelation 21:8 regarding immoral persons being thrown into the ‘lake of fire’ experiencing the 2nd death. See also Revelation 22:15.
